2018 President’s Message
The Hay River Golf Clubs new Executive/Board has been elected for the 2018 Golf Season.
As the new President I am pleased to send out a welcome and invitation to everyone
to help plan and provide input for the 2018 Golf season and future operations.
We have a great new Board that is very energetic, knowledgeable and wanting to work
closely with ALL our great members and guests to make this an even better
“Prettiest Golf Course in the North”.
We will be working hard to encourage our Hay River residents, especially families and visitors
to join in trying our great game of Golf.
With everyone’s busy schedule these days our leagues have experienced some player shortages.
We will be looking at new initiatives to revitalize our leagues like the Ladies League, Men’s League,
Junior League, Seniors League and exploring introducing a Family League, Mixed League
and any other league(s) that may be of interest.
With such a beautiful facility and Golf Course we will endeavor to make it the most friendly place
you will want to spend some time at, Beit golfing, enjoying a meal on the patio over looking the
Hay River and hole number nine(9), naturally with a cool beverage, or inside the air conditioned
club house when it’s +30 outside.
If you enjoy camping, try one of our on site RV camp sites with power, waste water
disposal and fire pits. Water is available in Town at the Tourist Information Booth
now OPEN Year Round.
Get your clubs out and polish them up and get ready for an exciting Golf season

The Golf Memberships and other rates currently included on our web-site are from 2017.
We are currently working on establishing our 2018 rates, probably little to no change for 2018.
Please visit our web-site often as changes will be occurring quickly as our 2018 Golf Season
fast approaches.
Your new Executive/Board has been working hard on your behave and has created the following
Mission and Vision Statements for your Golf Club.
Mission Statement:
“To provide an affordable high quality golf experience within a community friendly recreational
environment for the benefit and enjoyment of all present and future members and visitors.”
Vision Statement
“Hay River Golf Club will be a recognized leader in providing a high quality experience that
exceeds the expectations of its members, customers and employees north of 60”
The Golf Club will be reaching out to everyone to ensure we are meeting or exceeding our
Mission and Vision Statements and strongly encourage everyone to help achieve these goals.
